How wonderful that you’re joining this edition of the Happy Mail Club (again)! ✨ Behind the scenes, we worked incredibly hard to put all the packages together. But it was so worth it! This package is even fuller than the previous edition, and we did our very best to make it something truly amazing again. The pouches also match the theme so perfectly, which really completes it. And apparently you thought so too, because... everything sold out completely within 40 minutes! 😱 It still amazes me, and I’m absolutely blown away. Especially because we made a few more this time than last time, yet I still received messages from people who unfortunately missed out. Luckily, you were on time and managed to get one!
I already have so many new, creative plans for the next editions... What exactly are they? That will remain a surprise for now 😉 Have lots of fun unboxing, journaling, and reading this blog!
Journal Buddies 💝
I’m so excited to share these brand-new blind bags with you! I’m absolutely obsessed with mystery packages. The concept was slightly inspired by the big Labubu craze (which is now everywhere), but funnily enough, we were already working on it before Nijntje’s hidden treasures were launched!
We’ve worked incredibly hard on this project over the past few weeks. I designed and came up with everything myself. My mother planted the seed of the idea, and together we developed it during a brainstorming session. We wrote everything down, came up with the ideas, and designed it all. Then we went looking for matching items that would be fun to use on your journal pages. You even get a charm and a prompt that match the animal—so much fun to draw inspiration from for a journal page.
Then things got really exciting when I started designing the packaging myself and even bought a sealing machine, so it would truly give you that unboxing experience. It was quite an investment, but it turned out exactly as I’d hoped—and I’m so happy about that!
Behind the scenes ⭐
We’ve been incredibly busy behind the scenes over the past few months. So many exciting things are coming very soon! 🎉
The booklets will be released in multiple colors soon—and thankfully, you won’t have to wait much longer. They’re going to be so lovely, and I’m really looking forward to launching them.
There’s also another really cool product in production. I can’t say much about it yet, but I can already reveal that it’s receiving a lot of time and attention. Think multiple rounds of samples and lots of fine-tuning to get everything just right. So it’s very much in development. And I can’t wait to share it with you soon.
And as if that weren’t enough: there will also be new washi tapes, new sticker sheets, and I’m already working on all kinds of other ideas for the fall. So there’s a lot in the works!
Shout-out to my mom 🌸
This edition is one I look back on with an incredible amount of pride, because I’m so happy with how the package turned out. A huge part of making it all happen was thanks to my mother. She has been such an important part of the entire process. She came up with the very first idea for the mystery packages, and together we worked incredibly hard to pack each and every package with so much love.
And while we thought it was a huge job to pack 25 packages at the beginning (October 2024), we’re now at 200. Crazy, right? Each time, we look at how we can work more efficiently, and she has also started helping me more.
We’ve spent the past few weeks working side by side (designing, putting together, and packing), and I’m so grateful to her. None of this would have been possible without her. 💛
This autumn: trade shows & events
I’m already getting lots of questions about whether we’ll be attending trade shows this fall. I’m working hard on it! As soon as I know for sure which shows I’ll be attending, I’ll let you know via my Instagram, newsletter, and other social media channels. You’ll definitely hear from me as soon as I know more!
In addition, I’m gradually developing creative afternoons and workshops in my creative studio. Hopefully, the first one can take place this fall. Of course, I’ll also share all the information with you via social media and my newsletter.
Celebration: Happy Mail Club turns 1 🍂
In October, the Happy Mail Club will officially celebrate its first anniversary. That’s why I’m working on a special edition. Think of it as including a cool magazine, fun stories, creative ideas, and of course lots of journal items. So the October edition will once again be innovative and is going to be really awesome!! I think autumn is also one of the nicest seasons for journaling. Getting cozy with the candles lit, a blanket, and a cup of tea. First, I’ll enjoy the summer a little longer, but I’m already looking forward to autumn too. I can’t reveal everything about the package yet, but I’m super excited about it and I hope you are too!
Inspiration page
This journal page is a beautiful reminder of my city trip to Budapest. I brought along a map of the city showing all the highlights and used it as the base for the background. I also tore a piece of travel-themed background paper and glued it onto the other page. Then I printed out some photos. On the journal card, I wrote down all the highlights of the trip, including the iconic New York Café, a river cruise, and dinner at Ape Regina. I also glued a sugar packet from the New York Café onto the page.
Decorative elements such as the punched-out stars, ice cream sticker, a stamped and colored suitcase, and washi tape give the whole page a playful holiday atmosphere.
Inspiration page
This page is all about comfort, coziness, and creativity. We’ve given the adorable journal buddy Kiki a lovely spot in the journal. The illustration featuring a crackling fire, a vase of flowers, a cozy hanging chair, and an open book perfectly captures that feeling of comfort.
The blanket has been turned into a real fabric curtain. A tactile detail that makes the page extra special.
This page combines colored pencil, cutting and gluing, and fabric. By combining different materials, it feels as though Kiki has truly been given a lovely spot in the journal.

My webshop has now been around for just over a year, and I never would have dared to dream that I would already be where I am today.
