Plans for 2025
I’m incredibly excited to give you a little sneak peek at this year’s plans. In 2025, our range will become broader and more varied. Think of new products such as unique washi tapes, stickers, booklets, starter sets, and even stationery items designed exclusively by me. (I really can’t wait!!!!!!!)
In addition, I want to offer you even more inspiration. Whether you’re a seasoned journaler or just getting started, I’ll make sure there’s something for everyone to discover. Expect even more tips, tutorials, and fun challenges this year to give your creativity a boost! 💖
Oh no... a little mistake!
Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned for me either. To get the washi tapes in on time, I was working with a tight deadline. Unfortunately, I overlooked something during the inspection. On the baking washi tape, there is a book covering the rolling pin. Of course, that doesn’t belong among all the cheerful baking illustrations.
Instead of throwing the tape away, I decided to put a positive spin on it. Because I believe that making mistakes is part of life and that not everything has to be perfect, I’m sharing this washi tape with you as an extra little gift. Despite the mistake, it is still perfectly usable—you could use the remaining pieces in your journal, for example, on a fun recipe page!
Advent calendar journal ⭐
How much fun were the advent calendar videos in December? It was incredibly hard work, and I often spent hours editing until midnight. On average, it takes me 3.5 to 4 hours to make one video for Instagram Reels / TikTok. First, I develop the idea, then I create and film the page, put all the footage together (often I have 35–40 minutes of footage), cut it down to 1 minute, write the voice-over, record the voice-over, add subtitles to the video, look for background music, create a thumbnail/cover for the video, write the caption, and then post it on the social channels. This is often greatly underestimated because you watch the video so quickly. Alongside all my other work, it was quite challenging to post a video online every day.
But all your reactions and enthusiastic participation made me so happy! It was wonderful to see how you got started with the themes and inspiration that went online every day.
