Plans for 2025
I am incredibly excited to give you a little preview of the plans for this year. In 2025, our range will become wider and more varied. Think of new products such as: unique washi tapes, stickers, booklets, starter sets, and even stationery items exclusively designed by me. (I really can't wait!!!!!!!)
In addition, I want to offer you even more inspiration. Whether you are an experienced journaler or just starting out, I will make sure there is something for everyone to discover. Expect even more tips, tutorials, and fun challenges this year to boost your creativity! 💖
Oh no... a mistake!
Sometimes things don’t go exactly as they should for me either. I had a tight deadline to get the washi tapes in on time. Unfortunately, I overlooked something during the check. On the baking washi tape, there is a book over the rolling pin. Of course, that’s not the intention among all the cheerful baking illustrations.
Instead of throwing the tape away, I decided to put a positive spin on it. Because I believe that making mistakes is part of the process and that not everything has to be perfect, I’m sharing this washi tape as an extra gift with you. Despite the mistake, it’s still perfectly usable – you can use the other pieces in your journal on a fun recipe page, for example!
Journal advent calendar ⭐
How fun were the advent calendar videos in December? It was incredibly hard work and I often edited until midnight. On average, I spend 3.5 to 4 hours making one video for Instagram reels / TikTok. First, I develop the idea, then I create/film the page, put all the footage together (often I have 35-40 minutes of footage), reduce the footage to 1 minute, write the voice-over, record the voice-over, subtitle the video, find background music, create the thumbnail/cover for the video, write the caption, and then post it on the social channels. This is often greatly underestimated because you just quickly watch the video. Besides all the other tasks, it was quite tough to post a video online every day.
But how happy I was with all the reactions and the enthusiastic participation! It was amazing to see how you all got started with the themes and inspiration that came online every day.
