June 💌
How lovely and special that you’re joining this edition of the Happy Mail Club (again)! ✨ For this edition, I also want to honestly share a little about the past few months, because April and May have been such intense months 😅 In a very short time, we had to move the entire business while also preparing everything for KreaDoe. They were truly long days of starting early and finishing late, carrying boxes, assembling furniture, sorting products, checking samples, counting trade show stock, creating content, designing and arranging the booth… all while also keeping the webshop running “as usual.”
KreaDoe was a huge success 🥹 I want to thank everyone who stopped by so, so much. It remains incredibly special to meet you in person and hear all your lovely reactions. I worked incredibly hard on our booth and put so much love and care into it, so it made me really happy to see how many positive reactions it received.

Whimsical summer 🐚
After KreaDoe, there was actually no time to recover 😅 We had to immediately get back to finishing the office, sorting everything out, tidying up and organizing, packing orders, and of course working on this Happy Mail Club.
And actually, it’s quite ironic… because the theme of this edition is Whimsical Summer. A theme that’s all about slowing down, living more mindfully, and paying more attention to the small, beautiful moments. While, to be honest, I haven’t been very good at doing that lately. Sometimes, that feels a bit contradictory.
I’m incredibly proud and grateful that Finest Treasure is doing so well, but because of that, I also constantly feel like I want and need to get everything out of it. I genuinely love my work so much. In fact, as I’m writing this, it’s 10 p.m. and I’m still sitting at my desk at the office, even though I started at 8 this morning. Once I get into that creative flow and start coming up with all kinds of fun ideas, I can keep going endlessly.
But at the same time, I also know very well that taking time to rest is important. That every now and then, you need to zoom out for a moment so you can recharge and stay creative.

Charge up 🌿
That’s why Boyd and I decided after KreaDoe that we wanted to book a vacation. Our very first vacation together was to a Greek island, and we completely fell in love with it. I love walking there, truly clearing my head, feeling at peace, and coming back feeling completely refreshed. Then lying on the beach with a good book or sketchbook… I’m really looking forward to it! ☀️
And of course, by now I know myself well enough to realize that I’ll also want to journal plenty, record videos, and probably do some illustrating on my iPad now and then. ✏️ But the difference is that I don’t want to feel obligated to finish any major projects while I’m there. My goal is to finish as much as possible before the vacation, so that afterward I can actually take some more time to relax.
I think it’s very important for creativity to spend some time in a different environment now and then. Taking in new impressions, gathering inspiration, and recharging.

My focus for the coming weeks 🚀
That’s why the coming weeks will be entirely focused on illustrating and working on new collections. I’m hoping this will finally allow me to work further ahead, so that new collections can be planned and released online more smoothly, and I can also create more structure around the Happy Mail Club.
Because although it may not always be visible, behind the scenes I’m often still finishing a lot of things at the last minute. Fortunately, I now know that I can still be creative under pressure and sometimes even perform better when there’s a real deadline approaching. But now that Finest Treasure is continuing to grow, I’m also noticing that this way of working is becoming increasingly difficult.
After all, I don’t always work alone anymore. There are now people around me who help (my boyfriend and my mother) and who also depend on my planning and preparation. Because of that, I feel even more responsible for organizing things better and working further ahead.
In addition, I’m very aware that the constant pressure and stress of finishing everything at the last minute simply isn’t healthy in the long run. No matter how much I enjoy my work, I feel that it’s time to change that and create more peace and structure—precisely so that I can continue doing this for a very long time with just as much love and creativity! 🫶🏼

Enjoying the little things 💖
My goal now is to work really hard for one more month so that the biggest projects are finished before the holiday, and then hopefully be able to take things a little easier this summer.
I used to be really good at taking immense pleasure in the little things. For example, if I had found a delicious iced coffee, I could spend the rest of the day thinking back on it and feeling incredibly happy. Now I’m often only focused on everything that still needs to be done and everything that could happen, and sometimes I forget to live in the moment. So that’s my biggest goal for this summer too: consciously enjoying things and living in the moment. By writing in your journal every morning or evening about a small or big moment of happiness from that day, you can train yourself to reflect on those moments. You’ll see that, throughout the day, you’ll start noticing them more and more and become more conscious of them. I think this will be a really good method for me too. In the next Happy Mail, I’ll give you an update on how it’s going hehe ✨
From September onward, there are already so many fun projects and events planned 👀 Something I’m already really looking forward to, but I also know that they’ll involve long and intensive days again.
Meanwhile, we’re already making plans for KreaDoe in the fall. And yesss, we’ll be there again too 🥹✨ So go ahead and put the dates (October 21 to 25) in your calendar hehe.

The next edition ✨
For the next Happy Mail Club, I can already give you a little sneak peek 👀✨ The theme will be Postcard From Paradise ☀️🌴🌺 A theme all about summer, vacations, and travel. Think warm evenings, colorful streets, beach days, souvenirs, postcards, sketchbooks tucked into your bag, and that wonderful feeling of getting away completely for a while.
Anddd… this edition will be extra special, because for the first time, we’re collaborating with another artist 🥹✨ Whiiiiiiiii. Of course, it will still have the full Finest Treasure vibe you’re used to, but that combination is exactly what makes it so fun and unique.
I’m already busy working on it behind the scenes and… I genuinely think this is going to be such a fun edition. Of course, there will be new surprises, creative inspiration, and lots of beautiful details to get excited about.

My passion 🩷
There’s also been a new YouTube video uploaded recently, and lately I’ve actually been filming a lot behind the scenes 🎥✨ It can just be difficult to find the time to edit everything right away when things are so busy. The next video will be about moving to the new premises, including a tour from when we had just received the keys. After that, there’ll of course be a fun vlog from the KreaDoe Spring Festival, and I’ve also captured some lovely footage during various days in my life.
For the next little while, I’m going to get completely locked in to illustrating and working ahead on new collections and projects. But after that, I really want to focus more on creating videos and content again. After all, that has truly been my passion since I was little 🥹
I love capturing creative processes, creating atmospheric footage, and taking you behind the scenes at Finest Treasure. And of course, I’ll also be sharing journal pages featuring items from the Happy Mail Club on my socials again, so hopefully you’ll be able to draw lots of inspiration from them.

Thank you ⭐️
I’d like to close this blog post with one more huge thank-you!
Honestly… I find it so incredibly special to see how many kind, creative people are part of this community. It still feels unreal every time I see your journal pages, creations, and ideas featuring items from the Happy Mail Club 🥹✨
That’s truly why I keep making this with so much love. It’s not just about the products themselves, but especially about the feeling and inspiration you then create with them.
So if you make something with the Happy Mail Club, be sure to tag me on Instagram or TikTok! I absolutely love seeing everything, and I also try to repost as many creations as possible so we can inspire one another again 🌷✨
